Supervision & Consultation & Training

Supervision

I am a board approved supervisor in both Alaska and California and provide supervision to LPC interns, MFT associates, and MFT practicum students. My approach to supervision is to support the developing therapist, because good work flows from a well-supported and self-aware therapist. We have picked a fascinating career, where our humanity and life experience is so often intertwined with that of our clients. I love supporting therapists in finding their own approach to therapy.

Consultation

If you have a tough couples case, some confusing countertransference or clinical relationship issues, I would be happy to discuss cases with you. My approach to consultations is to help therapists to bolster their understanding around clinical issues and find a practical way forward. I bring over a decade of experience and a multitude of clinical orientations to the table. I don’t believe that one clinical modality fits all, so I will focus with you on your clinical perspective (or helping you develop that if thats what is needed).

Training

I offer continuing education on various topics concerning providing couple therapy, relationship therapy, and specific trainings on common relationship/interpersonal issues presented in coupe therapy. Please inquire about current offerings.
