I work with individuals on a range of issues listed. I especially love working with people who feel like therapists haven’t “gotten” them before. I like working with self-proclaimed “tough cases” or the “hard to love.”  I work well with achievers, academics, creatives, motivated individuals, and people who had pretty crappy childhoods. I would also love to work with you if you feel particularly drawn to work with me because I trust that deep down, you know what you need to heal. 

Individual Relationship Therapy

You are someone who finds themselves in the same shitty relationship, over and over. Or, you are someone who feels like you were born under a bad sign when it comes to dating and finding “the one.”

You might have grown up in a loveless or conflict-avoidant home. Perhaps your parents fought around you endlessly. Or, you might have been abused. One thing is for sure: you weren’t taught how to relate vulnerably, authentically, or safely. In fact, you learned the opposite. You were taught that love is a zero-sum game, that it is codependent, that you can’t be yourself in relationships, or even that they are dangerous. But, you want so badly to deeply love and receive love in a safe and lasting way. 

It’s time you unlearn this and be your authentic self in your relationships so that you can connect more fully to others and, arguably more importantly, to yourself.  

Individual relationship therapy is goal-oriented like coaching, but with all of the family-of-origin depth of psychotherapy. In simple terms, we will talk about your early relationships and how they shaped you, and how to take actionable steps toward changing your beliefs about yourself and love so that you can find the love you want.
